Antonio D. DeVincentis, 71, of Binghamton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2002. He was predeceased by his mother, Maria G. DeVincentis. He was formerly married to Giorgina DeVincentis, Binghamton. He is survived by his children, Marco DeVincentis, Binghamton, Anthony and his wife Colleen DeVincentis, Hallstead, Pa., John DeVincentis, Binghamton, Maria DeVincentis, Binghamton; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Padraic DeVincentis; a sister and brother-in-law, Fenesia and Leonetto Martiniccio, Vacri, Italy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Antonio was born in Vacri, Italy and emigrated to the United States in 1956 and worked in the construction business. He will be missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Vestal Nursing Center for their care and concern shown our father. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday at 12 noon. Rev. Daniel M. Caruso, Pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at 12 noon. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Antonio may be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Church Refurbishment Fund, 37 Fayette St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
