Died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 1976, at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. She was 98, a native of East Baton Rouge Parish and a resident of Baton Rouge. Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home. Visiting at 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at Rabenhorst Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. C. R. Adcock. Interment in Carpenter Chapel Cemetery, Galvez. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hester Barbay, Baton Rouge; son, Milton Chaney, Dutchtown; 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Plain View Baptist Church.
