Anna Marie Deutsch, 76, of Long Pond, died Thursday, May 28, at her home. She was the widow of William Deutsch. who died in 1993.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Maresova) Nickich. Anna was a resident of the Long Pond area for the past 25 years and, prior to that, resided in the Jersey City, N.J., area.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by six children, Stephanie Blass of Effort, Debra Ault of Long Pond, Rose Asbury of Bayonne, N.J., Grace Rovelli of Wilkes-Barre, William Deutsch of White Haven and Leo Deutsch of Allentown; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Catholic prayer services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 31, from the Pula & Bensing Funeral Home, 35 Sterling Road, Route 196, Mount Pocono, with the Rev. Fr. Richard Ghezzi officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
