Ellen died from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church, a senior at Blackmon High School, a member of the Color Guard, the Academy of Business, Secretary of the French Honor Society, Key Club, CEO of Virtual Enterprise, Campus Life, Belle Aire Youth Group, First Priority, Business Professionals of America, and Literary Society. She was a co-op student and was an employee in the Clerk and Master's Office of Rutherford County, TN.
She was survived by her parents, John and Jerrie Harris Dent; two sisters, Laura Dent and Amy Dent, all of Smyrna, TN; and a grandmother, Wilma Harris of Winnsboro.
