HOPE: Alton Denison, age 73, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2013. He was born October 21, 1939 in Hallettsville to Alvin and Josephine Brocker Denison. He worked for Phillips Petroleum for 35 years as a supervisor and is a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors: wife, Betty Hairell Denison; daughters, Susan Roberson and husband Jeff of Hallettsville, and Vickie Casey of Hallettsville; and son Keith Denison of Hope; four grandchildren; John Casey, Joseph Roberson, Jacob Roberson and Timothy Roberson; two great-grandchildren, Krysten Edwards and Caleb Roberson; sister, Bernice Clegg of Hallettsville. Preceded in death by; parents, son, Richard Denison, and grandson, Jeffrey Roberson.
Graveside services at the Hairell Family Cemetery at Hope. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
