Bernice Evelyn DeLon, 93, Kokomo, went to be with our Lord at 4:00PM, Monday July 6, 2015 at Waterford Place Health Campus. She was born January 8, 1922 to Hallie Horton and Clara Roberts Horton. Her husband Fred H. DeLon preceded her in death February 7, 1999.

Bernice was a member of Morning Star Church, was a past member of the Moose and Ladies Bible study “Ladies Lift”. She enjoyed baking pastries, her flower garden, and spending time at the cottage on Tippecanoe Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.

Bernice was survived by her daughter, Susan Zerbe (her spouse Fred E Zerbe passed away September 19, 2014). Granddaughter, Jennifer Zerbe Riggs (Randy), great grandson, Luke Gentry, great great grandson Bently Gentry and niece Sandy Faircloth.

There will be a graveside service for Bernice Friday, July 10, 2015 at 4PM at Crown Point Cemetery with Pastor Greg Reed officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International.
