Elvira "Vera" Aguirre (91) also known as "Nina" to her family passed peacefully in her home on April 17,2017. She was born to Manuel and Maria Delgado on March 9 1926 in New Mexico.
Later married Genaro Aguirre on Jan 18,1959. She enjoyed going to the casino and going for a drive through her hometown of Guadalupe. Being around her family brought her the most joy. Nina lived a long happy life leaving footprints in the hearts of her loved ones and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband Genaro Aguirre of Santa Maria, daughter Marcella Lozano and husband Ricardo of Santa Maria, sister-in-law Rosie Delgado of Santa Maria, grandsons A.J. Lozano and T.J. Lozano, both of Santa Maria, nieces and nephews Diana Gonzales and husband Eric of Santa Maria, Greg Dominguez and wife Mary of Gudalupe, CA, Benny Dominguez and wife Marianna of Guadalupe, Tim Dominguez of Santa Maria, Tony Dominguez and wife Cuca of San Diego, CA, Albert Dominguez and wife Alice of Santa Maria, Maria Penrod and husband Jay of Santa Maria, and Barbara Dominguez of Santa Maria.
She is preceded in death by her sister Lorenza Hernandez, brother Henry Delgado and sister Sally Dominguez.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary.
The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.
