Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Elmhurst Cemetery of Guymon with the Rev. Gary Holdeman, pastor of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church of Guymon, officiating. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Alexander was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Texas County to Eula Lee Sledge and John Chancey "J.C." Delano.
Survivors include four children, Loretta Ruth Alexander Gripp Willis of Lake Livingston, Texas, Charles Lavern Alexander of Dallas, Marcus Leon Alexander of Edmond and Larry Lee Alexander of Littleton, Colo.; two sisters, Lyla Lawler of Farmington, N.M., and Darlene Clawson of Derby, Kan.; two brothers, Dale Delano of Edmond and Robert "R.B." Delano of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
