Judith "Judy" A. Anderson, 61, Glyndon, MN, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in MeritCare Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Judith "Judy" Ann Dehn was born December 29, 1947, in Fargo, ND, to Harvey and Elsie (Wurzer) Dehn. As a young child, her family lived in many different cities in Minnesota and North Dakota because of her father's job. They lived on a farm near Alice, ND, then moved to a house in Sabin, MN, and then on to a home in Syre, MN and then Lake Park, MN. They eventually settled in Moorhead, MN, where Judy graduated from Moorhead Senior High School. Judy worked as an aide for the Americana Nursing Home, she worked in a local hotel cleaning rooms and as an elevator operator in the De Lendrecies building in downtown Fargo. She also worked in the kitchens of St. Ansgar Hospital and later in life, Moorhead Junior High School.

On September 17, 1976, Judy married Marvin Anderson in Moorhead and they made their home in Kindred then moved to Sabin, MN. In 1999, they returned to Moorhead. Judy lovingly raised their children and also cared for other children in her home. Judy's life centered around her family and her faith. While living in Sabin, she was an active member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and in Moorhead she was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Her sense of humor and loving care will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin; a son, Jon (Cheryl) Anderson; two daughters, Lisa (Tim) Motl and Debora (Troy Rauschendorfer) Anderson; five grandchildren, Shelby, Cody and Hunter Anderson and Caleb and Tucker Motl; and three sisters, Linda Rice, Kathy (Mark) Lande, and Renee (Dan) Mead. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Judy will be on Monday, October 12, 2009, from 9 AM to 11 AM, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.

The Funeral will also be on Monday at 11 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
