Deeble. On Thursday, September 1, 1904, at her residence, 1406 29th Street, Anne A. Deeble, widow of the late James W. Deeble, in the eightieth year of her age. Funeral from Oak Hill Chapel Saturday, September 3 at 4 o’clock PM. Friends invited to chapel.

Mrs. Ann A. Deeble, widow of the late James Deeble, for many years secretary of the Potomac Insurance Company, passed away after a long continued illness at her home, 1406 29th Street Northwest, at a late hour last night. At the time of her death Mrs. Deeble was seventy-nine years of age. The funeral series will occur tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock, interment being made in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Deeble was the stepmother of Mr. W. Riley Deeble, vice president of the Potomac Insurance Company. She was a woman of estimable character and was held in high regard by a wide circle. She had resided in Georgetown most of her life, where she was prominent in works of charity and kindness.
On January 6, 1866 as Ann A. Meem, she married James W. Deeble at the District of Columbia.
