Louise P. (McQuern) Decker, 88, of Lafayette, passed away at 6:45 am, Tuesday, August 18, 2015at Signature Health Care.
Born April 2, 1927 in Lafayette, she was the daughter to the late Cloyd and Nina (Powell) McQuern. Louise attended Jefferson High School in Clinton Co.
Her marriage was to Hugh V. Decker, Sr. on June 9, 1980 in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1993.
Louise was a waitress for 44 years, working for the former McGoo’s Restaurant, Park and Eat Restaurant, and various other restaurants in the Lafayette area. She enjoyed her cats, flower gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda McKinney (husband: Bob) of Thorntown, and Karen Snider (husband: Ed) of rural Frankfort, 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
