Mrs. Mary Austin died this morning about 7 o'clock at her home at 547 State Street, where she resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William G. Magee. She had been in poor health since last September and for twelve weeks had been confined to her bed. She was born in Livingston, being from one of the old families there, the Deckers. She had lived in Hudson for many years, and was a woman who had many friends who found her of ever gracious temperment and of a helpful, kindly nature. Mrs. Austin was a member of the Universalist church. She was a widow, her husband Stephen Austin, dying several years ago.
