Marian D. Abegg, 84, of Broad Acres Estates, Flemington, died Tuesday in Raritan Health and Extended Care Center, Ratitan.
Born in Flemington, she had lived there most of her life.
She was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and received her master's degree from Syracuse University.
She was a member of the Cherryville Baptist Church, the Colonel Lowrey Chapter of the D. A. R. in Flemington, and the Hunterdon County Historical Society.
Her husband, Fred A. Abegg, died in 1976.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Edmund Abegg of Edinboro, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. June Zubrycki of Carmel, N. Y.; a brother, Charles Deats of Plainfield; a sister, Mrs. Helen Prince of Westfield, Mass.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. Burial will be in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville. Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
