She was born June 16th, 1917, to Guy and Viola (Jones) DePew and married Earl Aldrich September 6th, 1934.
They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1984, surrounded by her loving family.
Nilah is survived by sons, Bud (Carol) Aldrich of Point Place, Gary Aldrich of Sylvania and daughter-in-law, Jessica Aldrich and brother, Norman (Shirley) DePew of CA.
Preceded in death by husband, Earl Aldrich; daughters, Marlene Nadolny and Nilalee King; son-in-laws, Edwin Nadolny and Harry King; grandson, Randy Aldrich; brother, Truey "Bill" DePew of AZ.
She will be greatly missed by her 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was loved and cherished by her 19 nieces and nephews, special friends and family Verna Kay "sister", Kenny Aldrich and Donnie Aldrich.
She was a member of the Central Park First Congregational Church.
Nilah's family enjoyed many vacations with her in Florida. She was very creative from her flower gardens to her crafts and sewing. She always kept us on our toes with her quick wit and sense of humor.
