Alfred R. DeMarco, 84 A longtime resident of Folsom, Ridley Twp. Alfred R. DeMarco, 84, died on March 13, 2011 at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth DeMarco. He was a resident of the Folsom section of Ridley Township since 1970, having lived in Philadelphia for many years prior to that. Mr. DeMarco was employed as an electrician at General Electric for many years and then worked at Reynolds Aluminum until he retired. After retirement, he worked for U.S. Airways for a period of time. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mr. DeMarco was pre-deceased by his sons Kevin and Daniel DeMarco; and great-granddaughter Keira Oaks. Survivors: His wife Catherine Brown DeMarco; his daughter Susan (husband William) Chandlee; his sons John (wife Debbie) DeMarco, Michael (wife Angela) DeMarco and James DeMarco; his sisters Nancy Sperring, Jeanne Beatty, and Marie Organek; his 4 grandchildren; his 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass Saturday, March 19, 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale. Burial Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple Twp.
