Gail was a Nursing Assistant at the Marion V.A. Hospital and retired in 1992. She was an animal lover and always took in strays. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ted; daughter, Lynn Oglesby, Florida; grandchildren, Patrick J. (Amanda) Logan, Stephanie (Mitch) Moses, and Tony Logan; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, David DeLong; several nieces and nephews; step-daughter, Cindy (John) Atkinson; and step-grandchildren, Jack (Angie) Kelly, Tim (Brandy) Horn, Shelli Flannigan, and Amanda Carter.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her son, Forrest K. Gruber; grandson, Neil D. Logan; step-son, Randy Flannigan; and step-daughter, Laura K. Flynn.
Visitation September 20, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
In accordance with the family's wishes, burial and private services will be at a later date.
