Brethren Home where she had been
a resident for the past 3-1/2 years.
Born in Cass County on January
13 1901, she was the daughter of
Moos and Belle (Miller) DeHaven.
She married Arthur Appleton, who
survives.
A member of Hopewell United
Presbyterian Church, she was also a
member of the former Deer Creek
Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving with her husband are
two sons, Gene Appleton, Kokomo
and N. Dean Appleton, Rt. 1,
Camden; five grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren. One
brother preceded her in death.
Services will be held today
(Wednesday) at 2 p.m. in Baker
Funeral Home with the Rev. David
Smook officiating. Burial will be
held in Center Cemetery.
