Mrs. Blanche I. DeHaas, 65, wife of Charles DeHaas, of 941 Race Street, died at 10:45 o'clock Wednesday evening, July 14, 1948, at the house of her daughter, Mrs. W. Edward Wilhelm, of 410 High Street, following an extended illness.
Mrs. DeHass was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gowers, of Muncy, both deceased.
She also leaves one granddaughter and three sisters, Mrs. D. O. Snyder, Mrs. Henry Manny and Mrs. William Applegate, all of this city.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. At the funeral home, 711 West Fourth Street, with the Rev. H. W. Miller, of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be made in Muncy Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
