Sarah Degolier was born January 25, 1823 in Plattsburg, Steuben County, New York. She married Charles Wesley Carpenter and had seven children. Those surviving children at the time of her death were - Milton, Mrs. Bunn, and a son on the Pacific Coast. Internment in Tilden, Ne.
