Louis D'Friese, age 77, 7909 Standifer Gap Road, died Sunday in a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Ruth Stephens DeFriese; a brother, Oscar DeFriese and two sisters, Mrs. Earl C. Bower and Mrs. T. A. McCallie, all of Chatanooga. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the West Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Nabors officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Reid, Claude Reid, Charles Gray, Carl Roark, Conner Bacon and Claude Smith. The body is at the Chattanooga Funeral Home West Chapel. (Chattanooga Times March 7, 1972).
