Maria was born on November 8, 1924 in Bitritto (Bari), Italy to the late Massimiliano and Serafina DeCarlo. She was a member of Holy Angels Church and Christopher Columbus Social Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Luigi Carone; brothers, Francesco, Max, and Luigi DeCarlo; brother-in-law, Frank Carone; sister-in-law, Grace Carone; Son-in-law, Ken Hous; and grandson, Brian Hous. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Hous; sons, Don (Connie) Carone, Max (Gail) Carone, Frank (Denyse) Carone and Luigi (Linda) Carone, Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa (Ben) Lusk, Cara (Brendan) Boyle, Kyle (Stefanie) Carone, Luigi, Vincenzo and Max Carone, Jr., Frank (Cristina) Carone, and Danielle (Doug) Carone, Jennifer (Brad) Schilling, and Isabella Carone; great-grandchildren, Ciera Hous; Jack, Ryan, and Brooke Boyle, Domenico Carone, and Nicholas, Alexander, and Samuel Lusk; sister, Guiditta DeCarlo; sister-in-law, Mary DeCarlo; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held.
