Ben V. De Herrera, 66, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest on Monday, July 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 2, 1943 to Juan De Herrera and Luisa Swazo in Bayard, NM. He was formally from California and had lived here for 12 yrs. He is survived by one son, Arthur Rodriguez of California; one brother, Robert De Herrera (Sara) of Las Cruces; two sisters, Evelyn Rivera (Matias) of Silver City; Romaine Jimenez of Montebello, CA; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Christina Sambrano of Silver City. He was preceded in death by his parents, his nieces, Anna Fuller, Ruth and Evelyn Rivera; his great nephew, Robert S. De Herrera. Visitation will be Thurs. July 8th from 5-7pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. A Celebration of Life service will be Friday, July 9th at 9:30am at Glad Tidings Church with Rev. Greg Burchfield officiating. The interment will follow at 11am at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Hugo Nieto, Roy and Ryan Messer, Robert V. De Herrera, Robert S.
