Obit, Manchester NH Union Leader, Monday, May 30, 1977: Porter, Maine - Mrs. Cora Olive Bean, 79, died at her home here yesterday. She was born in Porter and had lived in Eaton Center, NH many years before returning here 16 years ago. She was a member of the Elmwood Grange of Conway, NH and the Ladies Circle of Eaton Center. The family includes a son, Lawrence Bean of Center Conway, NH, two brothers, Perley Day of Farmington, NH and Arthur Day of Conway, NH; a sister, Mrs. Doris Thurston of Brownfield, ME; two grandsons; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the White Funeral Home, Conway, NH, Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. George Davidson Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Brownfield ME. There will be no calling hours.
