Mrs. Elizabeth Davis, widow of the late Banner Davis, died at 7 o'clock this morning of consumption at the family home in Hope. Three sons, Larue, Clarence, Charles, and a daughter, Miss Edith, survive her. The funeral will take place at Newbern Tuesday at 1:30 o'clock, from the Methodist church, Rev. Perry conducting the services.
