A lifelong resident of Thorndale, Milam County, Texas, Idella Davis was born in Minerva, Texas to Jim and Mary L. (Cooper) Tindle. She married Lorenza Davis on October 15, 1936. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker, a foster parent and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Thorndale. She died in a Taylor hospital, and was preceded in death were her husband; a grandson, Leslie Davis; a great-grandson, Jeffrey L.
