For Mrs. Anna Davis, 75
MONTICELLO, Ind, — Last rites
for Mrs. Anna Davis, 75, of near
Burnettsville are arranged for
Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock
in the Brethren, church at Burn-
ettsville. The Rev. Robert Sebert
assisted by the Rev. Homer Hanna,
will officiate. Burial will be
in the Davis cemetery, there.
Mrs. Davis passed away Tuesday
morning at her home. She had
suffered a stroke several months
ago.
The daughter of Frank and Marg
aret Gibson Donley,she was born,
December 27, 1873 in Carroll county
and spent most of her life
in this vicinity. She was an active
member of the Burnettsville
church. On February 19, 1890, she
was married to Thomas H. Davis
who precede her in death April 22,
1936.
Mrs. Davis is survived by a
daughter, Mrs. Harry Strasser,
Logansport; five grandchildren, 16
great-grandchildren; a brother,
Elmer Davis, Burnettsville; and
one sister, Mrs. Ivan Halstead, Ko-
komo. A son died in infancy.
The body was taken to the Mill-
er funeral home but will be removed
to the family home at 1
o'clock Wednesday. afternoon.
