Anna Jones was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Jones. She married Edward O. Davis in McLean Co. January 22, 1863. They had two children: Mary and Elizabeth. After Edward died, Anna worked as a seamstress and became the proprietor of a large boarding house at 421 N. Madison Street, Bloomington. Mrs. Davis has the distinction of being the only woman in McLean Co. to purchase and place her name upon a mausoleum.
