Mrs. Alisha Vonkayunwana Clopton Davis was born on June 21, 1982, to Mary Foster and Micheal Elvert Clopton Sr. in Birmingham, Alabama. She went home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2009.

Alisha leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted husband, Shannon Davis of Huntsville, AL; a cherished son, LaTreyvion Deonte' Davis; a precious daughter, Sa'Niyah Le'Asia Davis; a loving mother, Mary (Benny ) Foster of Huntsville, AL; father, Micheal (Earnestine) Clopton of Decatur, AL; a devoted step-father, Johnnie Ross of Wisconsin; four sisters, Felicia (Warvell) Mitchell-Moore, Yashika Hill, and Evelene Lampkin all of Decatur, AL, and Brenda (Dorez) Battle of Huntsville, AL; two brothers, Micheal (Monique) Clopton of Atlanta, GA, and Joshua Shackleford of Savannah, GA; father-in-law, James (Annette) Davis of Madison, AL; sister-in-law, Tamara Anderson of Madison, AL; eight nieces, Samantha Nicholson, Taliayha Swoope, Martaysha Anderson, Sandarria Anderson, Shikinah Sharpley, Gabrielle Sharpley, Bianca Campbell, and Tymeisha Campbell; six nephews, Rashadis Nicholson, Chris Swoope, Tamarcus Swoope, Joshun Shackleford, Ahmad Pointer, and Alejindro Chunn; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church (6107 Blue Spring Road; Huntsville, Alabama 35810) with Pastor Johnny Burrell officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mrs. Davis will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time

Public viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2009; 8:00 a.m.-11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
