Allene Davis, 97, went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2011 in Wylie, TX. Allene was born September 12, 1914 in Miles, TX to Robert Abner and Bessie Alice Perry. Allene is preceded in death by her Husband, Mark Davis and Granddaughter Vicki Baxter. She is survived by her daughters; Patsy Lowry, Marlene and husband Robert Baxter; Sister Aberdeen Jeschke; grandchildren, Kimberly and husband Chris Hanlon, Kelly and husband Jason Burch, Brenda and husband David Brosig, Jennifer and husband Hart Derington, Mike and wife Jennifer Baxter; great-grandchildren, Grason, Halyn, Laken, Derington, Kaleb and Rachel Brosig, Kinley Burch, and future great-grandson Carter Patrick Hanlon, numerous nieces and nephews. Allene was a faithful Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Lubbock for 60 years. Funeral Service will be held 10:00AM, Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo with burial to follow at Miles Cemetery.
