Mrs. Lula Burns, 82, of Rt. 2, Pelzer, Eastview community, widow of Charlie Burns, died Tuesday.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late William and Margaret Freeman Davis, she was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Stone and Mrs. Leila Garrett of Rt. 2, Pelzer, and Mrs. Magdeline Davis of Rt. 3, Pelzer; four sons, Pink, Thern, and William Burns of Pelzer and Charlie Burns, Jr. of Belton; a brother, Ben Davis of Piedmont; and 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday at Eastview Baptist Church. Burial will be in Washington Baptist Church cemetery.
The body is at Gray Mortuary, and will be placed in the church at 3 p.m. Thursday. The family is at the home of Mrs. Margaret Stone, Rt. 2, Highway 8. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
