David Clark Davis 84, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006 in Indianapolis. He was born in Daviess County, Indiana on September 2, 1921 to David and Leona Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, June Davis; sons, Larry (Rebecca) and Damon (Kay D.) Davis; granddaughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Clutter; brothers, Donald and Dale Davis and sisters Louidean Dillon and Norma Sturgeon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Matheny.

Clark owned and operated a Ford tractor dealership in Washington, Indiana and retired from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis 19 years ago. He was a World War II Navy Air Corps veteran, serving in the Pacific.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
