Mrs. Sarah Carolyn Hill Moore, 88 of Oxford, Alabama, formerly of Bremen,passed away October 21, 2013 in a local facility.
Mrs. Moore was born on October 6, 1925 in Anderson County, S.C. the daughter of the late Thomas Lindsey Davis and Mary Ethel Price Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Moore; brothers, Roy Davis, T.J. Davis, Charles Davis and Ansel Davis.
Survivors include her children, Shelia Norton of Oxford, AL, James & Patricia Hughes of Fayetteville, GA and Peggy & Roy Ridgeway of Hardeeville, SC; sister, Mary Jones of Lawrenceville; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 4 pm from Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremen with Reverend Kent Maddox officiating. Thomas McGuire, Blake McGuire, Tony Hughes, Adrian Hughes, Tony Hughes Jr., Lobin Lovelace and Dom Strammiello will serve as pallbearers.
