Gertrude, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, was born August 16, 1919, and passed away at her home in Lenexa, Kan, on Sunday, October 7, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ivan Davis and John Green, one son, Dale Davis, seven brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one son, Neal Davis of Belton, Mo., two daughters, Judy (George) Pickering of Lenexa, and Janice Brandt (Garry Marshall) of Bellevue, Wash. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Betty Tatum of Lenexa. She is treasured by her family, many nieces, nephews, and church friends who affectionately refer to her as Grandma Gertie. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, and services at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, both at Overland Park First Assembly of God, 7700 W. 75th, Overland Park, Kan.
