Lillian Faye Barkley, 79, of San Angelo, Texas died Friday, December 15, 2000 in a San Angelo Hospital. Graveside services were held Sunday, December 17, 2000 in the Colorado City Cemetery with Dr. Ted Spear officiating, under the direction of Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barkley was born March 10, 1921 to Thomas Daughtrey and Savanna Brookshire Daughtrey in Mitchell County. She married J. C. "Pete" Barkley on April 7, 1939 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Jerry and Evelyn Barkley; and one daughter, Sandra and Gaylon Tow, all of San Angelo; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Benny Lee Barkley, three brothers, Oswald Daughhtrey, Jewel D. Daughtrey and Thomas Daughtrey, and one sister, Dorothy Bryant.
