Mary Ellen Malie Baugh of Houston passed away Tues., April 29, 2003. She was a faithful Christian and long time member of Candlelight Church of Christ and a retired teacher. She was born to Norman Alford Daniel and Mattie Mae Peacock Daniel in San Augustine, Texas Aug. 12, 1916.

She was preceded in death by husband, Aaron Benton Baugh; and sister, Latane Hall; and grandchild, Howard Timothy Stevens; and is survived by John Wells; sisters, Merle Lanier, Margie Blackburn, and Kathleen Schwartz; and her six children; Hollis Baugh and his wife, Anne, Elizabeth Brown and her husband, Don, Lindley Baugh and his wife, Iva Jean, Benton Baugh and his wife, Paula, Nancy Habermacher and her husband, Ray, Kathy Brown and her husband, Richard; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Impact Church of Christ, 1704 Weber, Houston, Tex. 77077. Visitation will be Thur., May 1, 6-8 and the memorial service will be held Fri., May 2, 11:00 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine Dr., 713 682-3663.
