Betty Bernice Blankenship, 72, Passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Waxahachie, Texas.
Born on April 3, 1942 in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of Louie and Tiny Daniel. Betty was predeceased by her parents, as well as brothers: John Louie, James Wesley and Dalmon "Morgan" Daniel.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Louie John Amy and his wife, Donna (Waxahachie, TX); one grandon, Brad Amy and his wife Elizabeth (Newark, TX); two granddaughters Robin and Brooke Amy (Waxahachie, TX); and one great grandson, Carter Amy (Newark, TX).
She is also survived by her sister in-law, Wilma Daniel; and her nieces Della Caldwell and Deannna Daniel of Tennessee. In addition, she leaves behind several beloved Texas loved ones.
Betty never met a stranger and will be remembered for her undying sacrifices to her community, family, and friends.
Interment will be on Wednesday, June, 2014 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery in Waxahachie, Texas.
