Miriam Jenkins Dall, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep August 21, 2012 in West Jordan, Utah.

She was born April 27, 1925 in Nephi, Utah to Richard Heber and Pearl Painter Jenkins, the youngest of five children. Miriam met and married the love of her life, Ellis James Dall, January 19, 1950 in the Manti Temple; he preceded her in death May 16, 1997. Together they had two wonderful sons. "We felt her love, and learned by her example." Miriam was a wonderful mother and influence in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the favorite "little mom" in the neighborhood during her children's childhood. Miriam served lovingly and faithfully in many callings of the LDS Church where she was a faithful member her entire life. She was a great example of enduring to the end. She was a great care giver, taking care of her mother for years.

Her sons survive her: James (Margie) Dall and Greg Dall; sisters Grace McCune and Melba Hinds; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Her husband, parents, and brothers, Verl Jenkins and Lynn Jenkins, preceded her in death.

The family would like to thank Beehive Home of West Jordan for their compassionate love and tender care during the last couple of years. Staff and residents welcomed her and made her feel at home from the first day. Vista Care Hospice also made her last days comfortable.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held Friday, August 31, 2012, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
