Evelyn Emily Blackmer, 84, 2550 White River Blvd., died Wednesday at home.
A Muncie native, she attended local schools and was active in WIBC bowling leagues. She worked for Ball Brothers (now Ball Corp.) in the 1930s and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Blackmer, Alexandria, and Robert Blackmer, Muncie; a daughter, Velma Blackmer, Muncie; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Her husband, Harvey, died in 1975.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Calling at the mortuary is 3-7 p.m. today.
