In 1966, Danna and Lloyd moved to Rhode Island, while Lloyd was in the service. In 1973 they moved back to Pierre to raise their family. While in Pierre, Danna ran a daycare center for over 17 years, before taking a job with the South Dakota Gaming Commission. She retired in 2010.
Danna spent her retirement traveling, camping, fishing, playing cards with friends, visiting with friends and family and enjoying time with Lloyd. Danna also loved to read and loved to visit and talk!
Her family will forever be inspired by her attitude of faith and strength during her illness. Grateful for having shared in her battle and life are her husband Lloyd of Pierre, son Troy (Sharon) of Arvada, CO, son Daniel (Deanna) of Le Sueur, MN, son David of Parshall, ND , daughter Teresa (Matt) of Sioux Falls, SD and sister Debra (Robert) of Rapid City, SD, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Danna was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Adolph and Loveda Bren.
