Bruce F. Cypher, 42, of Becker Road died Monday as the result of a truck accident near Washington, Pa.

Born April 17, 1956, in Butler, he was a son of Mary (Becker) Cypher and the late Howard Cypher.

He was a 1974 graduate of Knoch High School and was a truck driver for P.R.S. Transit in Saxonburg for five years. Prior to that, he drove for Bakerstown Container Corp. for 12 years.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church and the R.C. Men's Club, both of Herman.

Surviving are his wife, Cindy L. (Kemery) Cypher, whom he married June 23, 1979; two sons and a daughter, Brian, Nicholas and Amanda Cypher, all at home; his mother of Butler; two brothers, Paul and Thomas Cy, both of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Aloysius "Jerry" (Shirley) Snyder of Fenelton, Joanne Meehan of Virginia and Mrs. Theodore (Patricia) Parsell of Chicora; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

CYPHER-Friends of Bruce F. Cypher, who died Monday Nov. 16, 1998, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Herman with Rev. James Kurtz O.F.M. Cap., church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
