Robert Reed Cypher a former resident of Saxton and late of 309 Stratford Avenue, Pittsburgh,passed away in Shadyside Hospital,Pittsburgh, Tuesday morning, April 10, 1962. He was born in Saxton on September 10, 1902, the son of Fred and Maisie (Reed)"Cypher. On September 10, 1953, he was united in marriage with Olive Moody in Pittsburgh. Mr. Cypher served as a Pennsylvania state trooper for four years and later was employed by Brinks for'33 years. Prior to his death he owned and operated the Robert Reed Shows, a carnival business. The deceased was a member of Wilkinsburg Baptist: Church, 'Wilkihsburg. Masonic Lodge No. 683, Consistory of Pittsburgh, and Syria Shrine. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are these brothers and sisters; Mrs Frank {Lucille) Enyeart of Bedford;.John D. Cypher, of Arlingtohi; Va.; Joe R. Cypher, Saxton; Mrs: Edgar (Ellen) Bradley and Thomas F. Cypher, Jr., both of Concord, California; Mrs Blair (Doris) Brumbaugh of Saxton, and Willard B, Cypher of Johnstown. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon, April 13, at 2 o'clock in the Masood funeral chapel, Saxton, with the Rev. Charles F. Hess officiating. Burial will take place in the Fockler Cemetery of Saxton.
