Judith Ann Bigsby
(October 15, 1942 - December 21, 2009)

Judith Ann "Judy" Bigsby, 67, a resident of the Timber community died Monday evening, December 21, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Gales Creek Community Church; 9170 NW Sargent Rd. in Gales Creek.

A committal service will immediately follow the funeral service to be held at the Gales Creek Cemetery in Gales Creek.

Family and friends are invited to attend a reception following the committal service to be held at the Gales Creek Community Church fellowship room.

Judy was born on October 15 1942 in Forest Grove, OR she was one of seven children born to Ralph and Alfreda (Lardy) Cutright. She was raised in the Banks area and attended the St Francis Catholic Grade School as well as Banks High School Class of 1960.

She was united in marriage to David G Bigsby on September 2, 1961 in Roy, OR. Following their marriage they made their home in the Banks area until 1973 when they moved to Timber, OR, were they have lived since.

Judy was first and foremost a mother to her six children and a devoted wife to her husband. She had worked outside the home including Gray & Co in Forest Grove and more recently the Timber Post Office from 2002 to 2008 when she retired.

Among her interest she enjoyed cooking, dancing and camping. She loved the outdoors and you could often hear her whistle while she went about doing things. Judy had a great sense of humor and was "Always right" when there was a subject she felt strong about. Her favorite color is purple; her home was always "Holiday Central" as she enjoyed her family around her during the holidays. Judy played Bingo, enjoyed a good drumstick ice cream and was one of the easiest people to shop for at Christmas time.

She is preceded in death by her father Ralph, Brother Leon, and her mother/father-in-law

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years; David; six children and their spouses; Kim and Bob Woodard of Timber, OR, Rod and Marlene Bigsby of Buxton, OR, Christy and Dave Schmidt of Cornelius, OR, Dawn St Germaine of Forest Grove, OR, Logan Bigsby of Timber, OR and Hayli Bigsby of Timber, OR, Judy's mother; Alfreda Cutright of Banks, OR, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and five siblings.

The family suggests donations in Judy's name to (American cancer society)
