FOR BETTY COX
SET FOR FRIDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Cox, 39, of 308 North Canyon will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Carpenter Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Willis E. Plapp of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate and burial will be at Carlsbad Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox, a bookkeeper for Clardy's Dairy, was born Aug. 28, 1916, at Fort Worth. She passed away Monday.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.S. Cutbirth, and a son, Don Cox, all of Carlsbad.
Pall bearers will be Bob Tarleton, Cy Taylor, Cleve Rounsaville, I.C. Austin, C.D. Franklin and Dalton Bell.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home Thursday and until noon Friday. The casket will be closed during services.
