OBITUARY
R. Bruce Curtis
R. Bruce Curtis was born in Towanda, Kansas, on Dec. 23, 1871. On Feb. 14, 1893, he was married to Kittie Strawhacker in Oakland, Iowa. Eight years later they came to the Flathead to make their home. Mrs. Curtis passed away Nov. 27, 1945.
Mr. Curtis was engaged in farming until ill health forced his retirement.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Velma Hoffman of Kalispell and Mrs. Fern True of Spokane; two sons, Raymond of Eureka, and Ralph of Olney; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Mossie Roberts of Los Angeles and one brother, Lee J. Curtis, of Santa Cruz, Calif.
Mr. Curtis passed away in Spokane Tuesday while visiting his daughter, Mrs. True.
