Rena Jewel Curtis Corbridge, 88, passed away Aug. 30, 2016, at the Legacy House in Logan, Utah. She was born March 19, 1928, in Aurora, Utah, the daughter of Lero and Hazel Kennedy Curtis. She married Verlan W. Corbridge on April 20, 1951, in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death Oct. 24, 1995.
She lived in Preston, Idaho, for about 60 years before relocating to Logan, Utah. For several years she spent winters in St. George, Utah. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served in the stake and ward Young Women organizations. She served a full-time mission in the North Central States Mission. She enjoyed making hand-braided rugs, quilting, sewing and crafts.
She is survived by two sons, Curtis L. (LaPreale) Corbridge of Mountain Green, Utah; Thayne C (Colleen) Corbridge of Moxee, Washington; by a daughter-in-law, Shauna Corbridge (Michael) Blauer of Declo, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and by 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, by a son, Paul Corbridge; by her parents and by five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., also at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
