Coral Curtis Boswell 1919 ~ 2005 Coral Curtis Boswell, 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Orem, Utah, on Tuesday, September 20, 2005. She was born January 11, 1919 in Oakley, Idaho, to Albert William and Viola Hale Curtis. She married Calvin Roy Boswell August 21, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary together. Coral graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City and received a B.A. in Home Economics & Arts from BYU. While at BYU, Coral was a member of the Gamma Phi Home Economics Sorority and also president of Les Cecilienne Social Unit. She later received her teaching certificate and worked in the Granite School District as a librarian. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in Primary and Relief Society. She was publisher of the Ward Bulletin for 17 years. She was a member of the Provo Bench Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and a member of the Provo Women's Council - Artist Section. Over the years, Coral painted many beautiful landscapes of places she and her family vacationed. She is survived by her husband, Calvin, three sons, Stephen (MyrlaVee), Pocatello, ID; David (Elge), Germany; Gary (Carolyn), Park City, UT; and a daughter, Deanna Eaker, Orem; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grand-children and a sister, Artha Gene Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Orden Curtis, L.H. Curtis, sister, Leora Cropper and grandson, Justin Boswell. The family wishes to express our appreciation to Hearts for Hospice for their love and care of our mother. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Sharon Stake Center, 545 South 800 East, Orem. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the stake center. Interment will be held at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 340 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. (Use 33rd South entrance) Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.walkerfamilymortuaries.com
