On Tuesday, July 22, 2003, our loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Clea Curtis Baker, 80, passed away in Payson, Utah of causes incident to age.

She was born September 2, 1922 in Salem, Utah to Ezra L. and Alva Hanks Curtis. She married Burnell Baker on October 27, 1941 in the Manti LDS Temple.

He died on July 22, 1977. They died on the same date 26 years apart.

Clea went to school in Salem and Spanish Fork. Her early married life was spent in Boulder, Utah helping her husband run a cattle ranch. In 1961 they moved to Salem. She was employed at the Utah State Hospital as a nurses aide for over 23 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and fulfilled many callings. Clea had a kind heart and was the most happy while in the service of others. She loved to take care of her family, friends, and neighbors.

Clea is survived by two sons and two daughters: Lorraine (Don) Kling, Marvin C. (Lorraine) Baker, Larry B. (Brenda) Baker, Arnolyn (Kevin) Gordon; ten grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by two brothers, George Curtis and Howard Curtis. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Ora C. Schow; and brother, Glen Curtis.
