PALMETTO - Funeral services for Mrs. Caldonia Fields Curry, 64, will be held at 11 a.m.
Tuesday in St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.The Rev. James Fontenot, church pastor, will officiate.
Mrs. Curry, a resident of Kenner, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, in Opelousas General Hospital. She was a member of St. Matthew Missonary Baptist Church, where she sung in the church choir.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Kurry of Kenner and Roosevelt Richard of Texas City,
Texas; three brothers, Huey Fields of Port Arthur, Texas, Mose Fields and Allen Fields Jr., both of Washington; four sisters, Delores Curry of Kenner, Theresa Fields and Adlene Guillory of
Washington and Sarah Fields of Palmetto; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Curry; and her mother, Hattie Parker
Visitation will be held from 7-10 p.m. Monday in Ford and Joseph Funeral Home of Opelousas,
which is in charge of arrangements.
