Annie Jewell Curry ,77,died at 4:35 a.m. Friday in a Clarkville nursing home .
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Greenpond Baptist Church ,with the Rev.Curtis Hoover and the Rev.Dale Ruggles officiating. Burial will be in The Greenpond Cemetery under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral home .
Mrs.Curry was born Dec.3,1901 in Hopkins County ,the daughter of Sam and Margaret Wright Stinson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fullbright ,Texas .
She was married to Elvis Curry who preceded her death in 1966 .
Survivors include three sons ,C.R.Ponder of Clarksville ,Howard A.Ponder of Dallas and Harold L.Ponder of Austin; a brother ,Rayford Stinson of Como; six sisters ,Ethel Ponder,Ivo Teer,Mozel Gilliam ,Rudine Cook,and Arlene Flora all of Greenpond and Cleo Acker of Como ;17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren .
A son ,a brother ,and two sisters preceded her in death .Grandsons will serve as pallbearers .
