HASTINGS - A. Blaine Cunningham, 64, of Kenesaw, formerly of Fullerton, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare in Hastings.

He was born April 12, 1948, in Grand Island to Chester and Bertha (Vogel) Cunningham.

He grew up near and was educated at District 11 country school and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1966. He continued his education and received his master of science degree in forestry at the University of Missouri. He worked in Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota and Alaska for the Forestry Service and the Corps of Engineering. He was the overseer of employees on the Fort Randal Dam Lake Francis Case Project.

He became disabled in 1999 and had since lived at Haven Home in Kenesaw.

He was a member of the NRA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He appreciated all the employees at Haven Home, where they were like family to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jennifer Lynn Tupps.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton with the Rev. Val Warman officiating. Burial will be at Fullerton Cemetery.
